Spatha (sword)
The spatha is another type of Roman sword, less popular than the gladius.
The blade is between 0.75 and 1m long. It is designed to be used with one hand.
It was a stadard heavy infantry weapon, whilst the gladius was a light infantry weapon. The spatha is longer than the gladius, giving it a longer reach for thrusting.
Demigods are allowed to swap their gladius for a spatha if they wish.
