Probatio is the lowest position at Camp Jupiter. All campers who are new to Camp and have not been claimed or commited an act of valour (a great deed) are probatio. After a year of service probatio can become legionnaires, and are accepted into the Legion.
They are already placed in a Cohort when they arrive at Camp. Probatio cannot lead quests, only centurions can lead quests.
They do tasks which are considered beneath the other campers.
Neckplate[]
They have to wear a leather and metal neckplate with the words "Probatio" on it, which is removed when they become a legionnaire or a centurion.
